Laur\u00e9ate du grand prix iLab 2022, \u00a0la start-up a b\u00e9n\u00e9fici\u00e9 du soutien de la r\u00e9gion Auvergne Rhone Alpes, Gaia, Start-up and Go, du Cr\u00e9dit Agricole Rhone Alpes Innovation et est labelis\u00e9e DeepTech par BPI France et DeepTech Pioneers par Hello Tomorrow.<\/p><p>HuntX Pharma est une <strong>Biotech<\/strong> qui ambitionne de r\u00e9volutionner le traitement de maladies neurologiques caus\u00e9es par des mutations dans des g\u00e8nes du transport axonal. La start-up s\u2019int\u00e9resse \u00e0 un groupe d\u2019environ 50 maladies g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques neurod\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9ratives sans traitement qui sont dues \u00e0 un d\u00e9faut de communication entre les cellules c\u00e9r\u00e9brales appel\u00e9 transport axonal. Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Saudou est depuis 2014, professeur de m\u00e9decine \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Grenoble Alpes (UGA), Directeur du Grenoble Institut des Neurosciences (GIN) et consultant pour plusieurs biotechs. Dans le cadre de son activit\u00e9 de recherche il a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 2 innovations technologiques ayant permis d&rsquo;identifier le candidat m\u00e9dicament HX127 qui va <strong>r\u00e9volutionner la prise en charge de la MH.<\/strong> HX127 sera administr\u00e9e par voie orale et pourrait \u00eatre propos\u00e9e aux personnes pr\u00e9symptomatiques leur permettant de ne pas d\u00e9velopper la maladie ou de retarder significativement son apparition.<\/p><p>HuntX Pharma exploite une technologie issue du <strong>Grenoble Institut des Neurosciences (GIN)<\/strong>, qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9 en 2007 par l\u2019INSERM, l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Grenoble Alpes, le CEA et le CHU de Grenoble. Le GIN f\u00e9d\u00e8re les \u00e9quipes grenobloises sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9es dans l\u2019\u00e9tude des processus physiologiques ou pathologiques du syst\u00e8me nerveux et le d\u00e9veloppement de techniques innovantes pour les explorer. HX127 a \u00e9t\u00e9 brevet\u00e9 par l&rsquo;UGA en 2019 et est libre d&rsquo;exploitation.
